What We Believe

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God.

God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son - Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the pre-existence, incarnation, and virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the sinless life of our Lord Jesus Christ, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His bodily ascension into Heaven and His coming again.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit, as the third person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment to come. He is the Spirit of Truth; the Helper/Counselor who always brings glory to Jesus Christ. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit who empowers the believer to live the life and boldly proclaim Jesus Christ. We also believe the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit should be evident in our lives as believers.

Humanity

We believe that human beings were created in the image of God to enjoy fellowship with God. However, beginning with the first man and woman (Adam & Eve), we all have sinned against the Lord.

Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ lived a perfect life and gave His life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. He is the only way to salvation.

Baptism

We believe in water baptism by immersion.

Church

We believe that there is only one true Church, universally composed of all people who have been regenerated and forgiven by Jesus Christ.

Healing

We believe in divine healing as taught by the Word of God. We also believe in prayer, laying on of hands and the elders anointing the sick with oil in the Name of the Lord.

The Lord's Supper

We believe in celebrating the Lord's Supper as Jesus commanded in remembrance of Him.

Soon Return of Our Lord Jesus Christ

We believe in His imminent return. We believe in a literal Heaven and Hell and that every human being will spend eternity in one of those places. The saved will go to eternal life in Heaven and the lost to eternal judgment in Hell.
